1) How is American English Tutors different than classroom learning?

Learning with American English Tutors offers benefits that you cannot get from a classroom learning environment. We provide personalized one-on-one instruction. With American English Tutors, you will develop your English at your own pace, in the comfort, convenience and privacy of your home or office.

2) Do you offer group classes?

No, all of our classes are one student and one native English speaking instructor. We believe that one-on-one instruction is beneficial because all of the instructor's attention is focused on the needs of one student, giving you the optimal development of your English speaking skills.

3) Where are the instructors from?

Our instructors all reside in the USA . All instructors are all experienced, native English speakers.

4) Can English learners of any level apply?

At American English Tutors, all of our classes are personalized to your individual needs as a student. English learners of all levels are encouraged to try our services. All classes are conducted entirely in English.

5) What is the schedule?

Lessons are 50 minutes long. Lessons start on the hour. Please be sure to let us know your preferred class times!

6) Are there any special computer requirements?

To study with us, you will need a computer, high speed internet, and a headset with built in microphone. A web camera is optional.

For our classes, we use Skype, a free software program that lets you talk with voice and video over the internet for free. To download this program, please go to: http://www.skype.com/download/

7) How do I make my payment?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover through Paypal. 

8) What is the refund policy?

If you cancel within the first two classes, the remaining classes will be refunded.
